The pie charts illustrate the degrees awarded in four fields -Computer Science, Business, Medicine and Law – at the National University in the years 1990, 2000 and 2010.
In general, Business, Computer Science and Medicine remained the top producer of graduates over the period. Computer Science remained at the top which had a steady increase in its production of degree holders and popularity. Second is Medicine which showed an unstable state of producing graduates. Third is Business but the number of graduates is declining for the past three decades and last is Law which consistently showed poor production of degree holders.
For three decades, Computer Science showed a steady increase in producing graduates, from 30% in 1990, the rate climbed up to 40% in 2000 and then raised again into 45% in 2010. Medicine, the second field to grant a degree unstably, from 25% in 1990, the percentage rose to 30% in 2000 and then lowered again into 25% in 2010. Business on the other hand, showed a decreasing manner of production of degree holders. From 30% in 1990, the rate dropped to 20% in 2000 and then descended again into 15% in 2010.
