In contemporary society, there is a belief that social platforms should not describe detailed information about crimes, and governments need to implement strict bans on them. This essay agrees with this notion and will be explained as follows.

To begin with, giving detailed descriptions of criminal behaviors has several significant drawbacks, one of which is allowing people to violate the laws, especially, teenagers. Due to the fact that the teens are not mature enough to be alert the bad consequences of crimes. Therefore, they might be curious and want to imitate the criminal acts. For example, Sinochiro Azima, a 14-year-old boy, killing two people by cutting their heads after watching a series of documents about American crimes.

In addition, if citizens knew lots of information about crimes in details, they would feel more stressed and anxious. Since killers have numerous ways to kill a person, and describing this step-by-step really gives individuals a sense of depression and worries. According to some surveys, many television viewers become worried after watching documents about criminal acts on TV shows. Therefore, I believe this has an adverse impact on human mental health, and the states need to bring laws to restrict social media show these kinds of information.

To conclude, providing too much information about crimes in detail will have bad influences on individuals’ lives, such as increasing the state of anxiety, violating the regulations of the younger generation, etc… For that reason, I do not argue against the given statement that each government should impose strict rules and laws on broadcasting step-by-step criminal descriptions on newspapers or television.
