Dear Sam,
I hope you and the kids are doing well. It’s been a while since I heard from you. I’m writing this letter to invite you for a vacation.
Work has been so hectic for these past couple of months that I’ve hardly had any time for myself. Therefore, I was thinking to take a few days off work for a trip to the northern areas. Actually, I also need to write a report for work regarding the effects of global warming in high altitute areas, so this vacation will help me do that too.
I’ve chalked out a rough itinerary for 10 days starting on Friday evening from Lahore to Islamabad. Instead of going by air, I think driving my own car will be more convenient and enjoyable. I can just stop midway where ever I want to take a break. In Murree I’ve already booked a hotel for a week starting Saturday. There are a few places I’ve short listed that are popular among tourists and I plan to visit them all in these days.
As I’m planning to go via Islamabad, will you be free to join me from there? I still remember the absolutely amazing time we had on our trip to Bali in the college days. I know it’s short notice, but try and get time off work and I promise we’ll have a great time.
Waiting impatiently for your reply.
With love,
Maham
