While some people think that the advance of technology might bring disadvantages towards humans, many others claim that it would help people and make their life easier. I tend to agree that the development of technology would bring more benefits although it comes with challenges, and this essay will elaborate both views respectively.
On one hand, as many innovations advance, we would see many breakthroughs and inventions which help our daily life, especially when we commute from one place to another. As an example, decades ago when scientists had not invented machines for cars, most people commuted on the back of horses which took long hours. However, as the age of industry encourages inventors to develop engines, we can now enjoy traveling far away with faster modes of transportation. In turn, this is really beneficial in terms of time efficiency.
On the other hand, although the technology offers time effectiveness in the commuting aspects, it also comes with setbacks, especially in the health aspect. As millions of cars are invented by factories, their waste is polluting the air which can affect human lungs. Since many people are being exposed to this pollution, more and more respiration related diseases would spread. In short, technology may deteriorate our health if it is not managed wisely.
In summary, the development of innovation has influenced the way we travel from one place to another although it is not without consequences. As many automobiles are produced by companies to help us commute easily, they produce pollution that may lead to more diseases. By having this consequence, I believe that technology that helps us save time from traveling long hours is more beneficial than concerning health.
