It has been universally accepted that the problem of competing local shops with large supermarkets and with online shops is difficult. The problem is bringing a state of depression among the economy. There is a plethora of reasons for the same, and its possible solutions can be suggested, which are discussed as follows.
In light of local communities, it has affected a large number of our economy; most supermarkets have their online platforms, and they are too large in terms of space. People are likely to spend in malls and online because they contain different types of groceries. For example, if a person visits a superstore, he can buy clothes, home essentials, and toys. This has affected the tiny stores. People in the state do not know how to operate the self-check in function in malls, they might feel embarrassed to purchase only one thing in a supermarket.
Seeing the problem with a brighter mind, many solutions can be helpful to curb this menace. Local shops should adopt new trends; they should advertise their stuff online too. It has a very positive impact on society. Owners of small markets must address security concerns, like installing bar codes on items and price labels, too. In addition, they can promote their stuff by offering discounts on various items for healthy competition and introducing loyalty cards which increase user points on every item they spend on.
To conclude, solving a global issue is not easy, but with the joint efforts of the people, control can be taken over the issue with the aforementioned suggested measures.
