Overall, it is clear that people spend more on theatre than other types. However, market share was most dominated by renting a DVD.
To begin with, in 2005, the number of tickets sold through the theatre stood at 9 pounds. However, over the following years, there was a gradual increase to 14 pounds at the end of year. Legal downloads started selling from 8 pounds in the beginning of 2005, and experienced a small decrease in 2007 at 6 pounds, and then rose again to 9 pounds in the end of time given. On the other hand, DVDs revenue saw a slight increase, only 2 pounds, between 2005 and 2011.
The pie chart reveals that DVDs rent represented the highest market share in 2005 by 64% and decreased to 56% in 2011. The second place market share was people who go to the cinema, whereas 30% in the year 2005, and also saw a decrease to 18% in 2011. In contrast, market share in people who watch online experiences increased by the time given from 6% to 26%.
