Overall, it can be seen that Shanghai was the only city that experienced decrease, and all three cities had not followed the prediction of population.
Sao Paulo, the city that previously had the largest population out of the given ones, rose only to 19 figures, despite that it had been predicted to rose to 24 figures. However Sao PAulo still remained as the city with the biggest population in the table. Jakarta had the smallest population in 1990, at 9.5 figures. It increaed slightly to 14 figures in 2000, but before had been preticted to increase to 14. Shanghai saw the decline in the population in 2000, with only 12,5 figures. Initially the population of this city had been at 13,5 figures in 1990, and had been predicted to reach 17 figures.
