Moreover, South America was the area with the second highest agricultural water consumption, and it percentage was 71%. However, there were only 32% and 39% of water consumption for agriculture in two countries, North America and Europe.
On the other hand, 48% and 53% of water was used in North America and Europe for industrial aims. Although these two countries were the highest in percentages, there were only 10% and 7% in South America and Africa, 5% and 12% in Central and South East Asia.
