After analyzing, it can clearly be seen that the sales department’s employment rate was higher only in Town A in 1960. But in the latter year, the number of people working in manufacturing companies increased almost twofold compared to the previous year in Town A. In contrast, the number of people employed in the services sector decreased almost by half from 30% to 16% in Town A in 2010.
The pie chart further shows that the percentage of Town B’s sales department’s employment was higher, at 70% in 1960, when compared with Town A, which had 61%, collectively. The proportion of individuals in manufacturing increased by 15%, overtaking the services’ percentage by 3% in Town B by 2010.
Overall, the number of people employed in the sales department in Town B in 1960 was higher than in Town A in both years, and the proportion in services was the lowest among all.
