The diagrams illustrate the changes that took place at a library between 2001 and 2009.
Overall, it is evident that the library was upgraded to a more modern facility with a variety of book genres and amenities.
Upon closer inspection of the diagrams, the northern section of the library transformed from a fiction bookshelf to a collection of children’s books, accompanied by a designated children’s area below it. In the western area, the historical and self-help bookshelves were reorganized, with the former now housing self-help, kitchen, economics, and law books, while the historical and fiction books were moved to the latter section.
Furthermore, the 8 small tables in the central area were replaced by 4 longer tables. The newspaper and periodical bookshelf in the eastern part of the library was removed to make space for a collection of films and DVDs, along with a few computers installed below it. Meanwhile, the librarian’s desk, stairs, and entrance in the southern part of the library remained unchanged from 2001 to 2009.
