The diagram illustrates the changes of a small-scale local museum and its surroundings between 1957 and 2007. Overall, the museum was expanded.
First of all, in 1957, on the left of the road, there were a lot of trees and a path leading to the entrance of the museum, and surrounding the museum were numerous trees. By passing the entrance, there was a local history room on the left and a museum store room on the right. Going straight from the entrance hall, there was a national history exhibition.
In 2007, all the trees on the left side of the roads had been chopped down and a car park had been constructed. The museum store room at the entrance has been removed, and in its place is now a café, a reception, and a museum shop. The local history room, which was right next to the entrance in 1957, had been moved to the middle of the museum. By going forward to the local history room, there were special exhibitions and an education centre. Because of the expansion of the museum, the garden had been scaled down, and only a few trees remain.
