Nowadays, with the development of industrialization and modernization, human’s living standards have been improved significantly as well as human’s rights are being paid closely attention. Indeed, as the result of such advances, there still remains a controversial topic about whether global warming or deforestation has negative effects on recent environment-related issues. It seems to me that everything has two sides like a coin has two different sides and this is the same as the topic mentioned above.
To begin with, global warming is considered the main causes for ecosystem’s negative consequences. The first thing is that it causes glaciers to melting partly. It clearly seen that, according to environmental scientific reports, currently, the ice of Arctic and Antarctica is thawing so fast, and the sea levels of the world keep raising more and more highly, so tsunami occur regularly in many countries which are located near the oceans such as Japan. Moreover, glacier melting has a negative effect to animals. For example, we can see that many polar bears or penguins are lost their habitats, and it can be a serious problem when they will extinct in someday in the future. As a result, global warming has a strong impact on the weather and creatures all over the world and if we do not reduce the quality of exhaust fumes, the Earth will be destroyed.
On the other hand, deforestation has an important role in affecting the environment adversely. Firstly, it causes the loss of diversity. For instance, in 2020, in Australia, deforestation had devastated 20 percents of its forests, so many animals like Koala or Kangaroo die pitifully. Secondly, the amount of oxygen in the air will decrease if they are still forest clearance. Obviously, when number of trees reduce more and more, we do not have enough trees to absorb carbon dioxide and transform it to oxygen to maintain life of all species. From these arguments, one must conclude that if deforestation is more and more widespread, our world will be damaged and many years later, it maybe become an unsuitable place for human.
In conclusion, this outstanding phenomenon mentioned above has outlined many reasons as well as the drawbacks of this statement. As far as I am concerned, I think people need to pay more attention to developing their lives rather than searching for their background.
