The diagram represents the process of honey making in a small-scale commercial production. The process is divided into two parts: the bee phase and the human phase.
Firstly, the production of honey begins with the bee phase, where the bee needs to gather nectar to make honey, then the nectar gathered is deposited in the hive. Moreover, the honey must dry, and to do that, the bees use their wings as fans. The last process of the bee’s production of honey with out the human intervention is keeping their cells clean.
Secondly, the human phase starts with sealing of those cells that the bees must have kept cleaned. With the pressing of honeycombs that have been collected from the hive, honey is made. However, before it is sold, it is necessary that the honey goes through the sump tank, where the honey will be heated, and furthermore, before going into the settling tank, where it will stay for up to 4 days, it will have to be filtered in the sieve tank to assure there are no residues. Additionally, the honey is put into jars and finally sold.
