Dear Sara,
I hope you’re doing well. I recently received your letter and learned that you’ve moved from your hometown to a new city for your job and that you’re feeling lonely. I can completely get into your shoes and understand what you might be experiencing, as I went through the same phase when I had to leave my motherland.
It’s natural to feel this way since we are all deeply emotionally attached to our families.
The caring, the laughter, the memories we share with our dearest ones can trigger anxiety which can be all-consuming.
I suggest you keep yourself busy by getting more involved in your projects. Additionally, you might want to look into the social activities offered at the community centre. Activities like board games, charades, and community gardening can be a great way to meet new people.
From my own experience, I can assure you that engaging in these activities will not only help alleviate your loneliness but also give you less time to worry.
With the advancements in technology, we can always stay connected with our loved ones, anytime we want, including me. Remember, I’m here to support you whenever you need it.
I look forward to hearing from you soon about how you’re managing to overcome the loneliness.
Much love,
Chandana
