The pie charts compare the proportion of carbohydrates, protein and fat in three different diets (average diet, healthy diet and healthy diet for sport.)
It could be seen that carbohydrates had a significant majority in three categories of diets over the chart given, while the least amount is made up by fat.
Overall, sportspeople require a higher percentage of carbohydrates than an average diet and healthy diet, and carbohydrates make up 60% of the healthy diet for sport, while carbohydrates make up 40% and 50% percentage of an average diet and healthy diet, respectively.
People who eat an average diet consume greater amounts of protein (40%), compared to people who eat a healthy diet(30%) and sportspeople (25%). Furthermore, fat has the same proportion in an average diet and healthy diet, which makes up the lowest percentage of three categories. Conversely, the figure drops to only 15% for the healthy sports diet.
