The maps illustrate the changes in a certain area before and after the construction of the hydroelectric power plant.
Overall, after the construction, a lake and a dam replaced the river, and the power plant and the transmission towers did the same by replacing the natural park and the historic castle.
The river originally flowed from north to south; however, it was transformed into a lake in its northern part and a dam in its southern section following the building of the hydroelectric dam. In contrast, the forest in the nortwestern side and the mountains in the northeastern region remained untouched and were preserved.
After the development, the village remained as the only original structure in the southern area. On the western side, the national park an the historic castle were removed and replaced by the power plant and the transmission towers. Meanwhile, the farmland was demolished to construct a hotel.
