There is an opinion that countries should invest their resources in university education, while some people have proposed that countries would benefit from allocating their resources on vocational training schemes. Personally, I believe that it would depend on that country’s labor situation.
Granted, many countries have to cope with a surplus of university degree holders and a shortage of labor workers doing practical work such as hairdressing and car maintenance. For example, these countries such as Viet Nam, Korea, and China have to face a high unemployment rate among university graduates and, lack of people who can do practical work, leading to wasting human resources, promoting social chaos for general populations. Therefore, such countries should spend more money on training people how to do practical work, and enhancing labor workers by interested in vocational training systems, so that people would not be under pressure of seeking for a jobs and government also solve the problem of high unemployment rate.
however, most countries can cultivate a lot of benefits if they allocate their resources on university education. This is because, studying in university can provide young generation with a lot of knowledge insight into different perfective of lives, so that they would easily adapt to work. In addition, many factories nowadays prefer to use automatic machine in their production lines for the sake of increased productivity and reduce operating costs.
in conclusion, there are also some countries that gain benifit from redirecting their resources on vocational training schemes, but most countries should continuously invested in university education in order to towards sustainable development.
