At first glance, watching television was the most widely enjoyed activity by adults in 1985, at 32 percent, but it decreased by 2 percent in 1995. Furthermore, eating out was the second priority of adults in terms of leisure activities in 1985, at 23 percent, which decreased to 8 percent after a decade. Although, in 1985, not a single survey respondent rated playing computer games as a leisure activity, in 1995 it stood at 27 percent.
At second glance, talking with friends was another activity enjoyed by adults in 1985, and it stood at 21 percent. Whereas, it increased by 5 percent in 1995. All other activities resulted in a decrease, as talking with family and other activities in 1985 were at 18 and 6 percent respectively, which dropped to 7 and 2 percent respectively.
