Many people consider that desigining wider roads will assist to control congestion. In my opinion, I agree with this viewpoint, however, there are also some other ways to prevent jams.
On the one hand, constructing wider roads can solve the traffic jams because if the size of roads is bigger then vehicle can move easily on their way. Having bigger highway generally leads to improved traffic flow, reduced congestion and faster travel times. Buses can drive in ease without colided to other. Additionally, when there is emergency or ambulance is on the way at that time they donot have to face traffic problems. Expanding roadway definatiely make ease to ambulance or emergencies automobiles by preventing jams.
On the other hand, expanding the sizes of roads is not the only way to solve jam. By using lower number of automobiles can help to controll congestion. Nowadays, numbers of private vehicles are increasing rapidly therefore people have to face problems releated to traffic so that Government should implement a rule to stop using private vehicle and promote public buses because buses can carry a many people comparing to private cars and bike. However, many people prefer and comfortable to travel through their own vehicle and that leads to face a traffic jam because of the huge numbers of buses, cars and bike on roadway. So, by minimizing the numbers of private automobiles we can prevent traffic problems.
Finally constructing bigger roadway can be the one options to solve traffic problems. Additonally, Government should lookafter the use of private vehicles and has to implement a rule to minimize uses of own vehicle so that people donot have to face a very long traffic jam.
