There is a strong deliberation about the nearest future about preferring to have a good time in native country instead of foreign ones. It is argued that a major amount will be traveling and exploring their country. I can partially agree with this position owing to the large size of some countries and constantly rising standard of living. In this essay, I will give the answer.
Firstly, a number of countries have not been investigated and traveled by people yet, and it can be simply explained. Owing to the vast territories in some of them, most of places can engage potential visitors. This is a reason for developing local tourism. In addition, it is complex to leave these countries. For instance, in the United States this kind of leisure is highly developed and, thus, popular with citizens. They generally travel around fifty states and rarely tend to go abroad in virtue of capturing both the Pacific and the Atlantic ocean. It will be the common way to spend a vacation. That is why I can support the fact mentioned in the introduction.
On the contrary, some people always desire to spend their vacations beyond their nations. The level of welfare of people living in Western Europe is increasing permanently, moreover, significant parts of the countries is comparatively small. These evidences should positively impact on citizens in order to encourage them to move between nations more intensively. For example, both Liechtenstein and Luxembourg are traditionally reckoned as rich and have their own places to visit. However, they are tiny and, hence, people can move in Switzerland, Germany, Belgium and other countries with great cultural heritage and virgin nature, especially the Alps. These facts will likely cause growth of a continental tourism in order to have holidays which will include several countries (minuscule or medium).
To conclude, I suppose there will be a strong discussion about the necessity of not only local, but also international or continental tourism. While ones will visit only their state, others will arrive in numerous of them. That is why I hold on this opinion not at all. Indeed, if a country has colossal territories with a lot of borders, the local tourism will dominate, and there are an abundance of small and tiny states, the holidays will be spent in most of them.
