Overall, Australia had the highest percentage of households with internet access in both years, while the most significant growth was observed in the UK.
Australia started at 50% in 2000, but its figure climbed sharply to 88% by 2010, and accounted for the largest proportion throughout the period. Similarly, Canada stood at 48% just 2% lower than Australia, then it also rose dramatically to 85% and was 3% lower than Australia. In addition, USA experienced a gradual rise over the given period, from 44% to 78% in 2000 and 2010 respectively.
Meanwhile, UK and Germany saw a substantial growth compared to other countries. Uk stood at 35% in 2000 and was the lowest percentage in this year, but it surged to 82% by the end of the period.Germany wnet from 39% in 2000 to 79% 2010.
