The given chart compares the number of relaxing hours which was spent by males and females with various working positions on a weekly basis in 1998 and 1999.
Overall, unemployed and retired people witnessed the highest figures on unwind hours. It is clear that, men dominated the amount of leisure time, compared to women, except for part-time people and housewives.
Regarding jobless and retired individuals, unemployed and retired men used the majority of their time for relaxing, with the figure accounting for around 85 hours. Similarly, jobless and retired females shared the same number of unwind hours, nearly 75 hours each.
Turning to the remaining, homemakers and employed part-time women spent lower figures on leisure time, compared to jobless and retired individuals, with the figures standing at about 55 hours and 45 hours respectively, followed by no information of men was seen in both categories. Employed full time males spent about nearly 50 hours on relaxing, whereas for females, it is under 40 hours.
