The layouts illustrate the changes that have happened in the student accommodation building from 2010 to now. Overall, it is clear that the number of student bedrooms is increasing due to the rise in student population, and some facilities are added to new buildings, such as car parking, while the green spaces are decreased.
In 2010, there was a garden in the northwest and south of the building, which were turned into a student bedroom and a large car park respectively. There was a living room in the north of the layout which was replaced with a student bedroom. Also, there was a student bedroom beside the bathroom in the center of the map that has a way to the hallway, which is in the same place now.
Moreover, in the present building the kitchen, which is on the east side of the map is getting bigger, and a social area has been added to it. In the old building, there was not any en-suit room, which now it is built in the south of the building close to the student bedroom.
