Many people believes that global enviromental issues must be solved on international level insteed of nationally. In my opinion, i strongly agree that such problems as climate change, deforestation and polution should be tackled globally because it affects all countries, not just one.
First of all, enviromental problems are not limited by borders. For example, polution from one country can travel to another country through air or water. This means that, even if a country have strict environmental laws, it will not be enough if the neighbour country do not follow same rules. For example, a factory in one country may release toxic chemicals into a river, which then flows into another country, causing harm to people and wildlife there. Because of this, it is important to have global laws and agreements to make sure every country take responsibility.
Secondly, climate change is a problem which requires global cooperation. If only few countries try to reduce carbon emissions but others continue to burn fossil fuels at high rate, there will be no significant improvements. The Paris Agreement is a good example of how countries can work together to set targets and share technology to solve these issues. If nations work together, they can also support poorer countries who do not have enough resources to deal with enviromental problems on their own.
However, some peoples argues that each country should focus on their own problems first. They believe that international agreements are slow and difficult to enforce. While this is true in some cases, I think that working together is still better because environmental issues are connected and needs a united effort.
In conclusion, I believe that enviromental problems must be dealt with internationally rather than just domestically because they affect the whole world. Through global cooperation, countries can create effective solutions and help each other for a better future.
