I partially agree with this statement However, in my opinion there are some differences between two points and I will illustrate both sides and discuss my own view.
Nowadays, most of the people have access to many electronic devices such as laptops and phones Because, its more convenience to use devices, it would easily to carry, consequently, you can carry diverse of books and information in one device and there is no need to be restricted by places and time. Secondly, Everyone, can read books anywhere and anytime, in other words, wasted times such as standing in subways and bus stations could be useful.
On the other hand, there are some drawbacks to using constantly of electronic devices for reading. Although we have advanced technologies, a group of people still prefer to use physical books because they want to feel the real texture for example, most elderly still prefer printed books because they are not familiar with computers and gadgets. In addition, with all the benefits that digital books have, reading from a screen for an extended period of time can cause eye strain and fatigue. Furthermore, the best quality devices are expensive in general, and those families have a lower income level could not afford.
To summarize, I personally agree that via internet community have access diverse information and It takes up less space than physical books, although some people prefer them to electronic books due to the fact, its more enjoyable and have a sentimental value as well.
