The two bar charts provide information on the number of international and local students enrolled in Bond University’s bachelor of science or law programs from 2010 to 2012.
Overall, the number of local students who applied for science is gradually decreasing while the number of non-local students is increasing at a similar pace. However, the number of enrollees in law programs, both local and international, has a stable trend.
In terms of students applying for science, local students had the highest enrolling rates in 2010, with almost 1000 students enrolling in these courses, whereas non-locals were nearly over 400 students in that same year, which is less than half of the local numbers. In 2012, international students exceeded national students, reaching over 850 students.
Moreover, law enrollment did not change that much. Local students have the highest enrollment compared with non-locals, ranging from 400 to 450 students in these three years. International enrollment is steadily dropping with each year which fell to nearly 155 students in the third year.
