Some individuals opt for outdoor exercise, while others prefer gym workouts. This essay will examine both viewpoints and present my stance.
On the one hand, there are several reasons why people prefer outdoor exercise. Firstly, exercising outdoors can save a substantial amount of money. For instance, individuals can run on roads or in parks without incurring any expenses as these are public spaces. However, those who work out at the gym are often required to pay substantial membership fees. Furthermore, many individuals find it invigorating to be in a natural environment. To illustrate, they can exercise early in the morning or after work, enjoying the fresh air and improving their overall health. In comparison, we may feel less connected to nature in the gym room than outdoors.
On the other hand, there are concerns about favoring gym workouts. First of all, gyms offer opportunities for building effective exercise routines. For example, It is necessary to work out with a gym coach or a reliable partner to maintain a consistent routine in a professional way. Conversely, outdoor exercise may be less reliable, as people may give up due to various barriers such as weather or lack of motivation. Additionally, gyms provide a variety of equipment. To be specific, the modern machines and tools in the gym centers can support everyone to achieve their fitness outcomes more effectively in spite of charging members some costs. In contrast, outdoor workouts typically do not provide access to such advanced equipment.
Personally, I am in favor of the benefits of nature to our health and also like the open exercising space more than closed space. Hence, I enjoy exercising outdoors for the reasons mentioned above.
