What has been depicted in the pie graphs is the proportion of the world’s forests in five different countries.
Overall, the proportion of timber in North America ranked first, while that of Africa stood at the last in the amount allocated. Moreover, the greatest share of the world’s forests was allocated to Africa.
Regarding timber, the largest proportion was devoted to North America, which was nearly one-third, followed by South America and Europe, with the former being at 23%, and the latter at one-fifth. Additionally, Asia and Africa together totaled approximately 30% of timber.
In terms of the world’s forests, Africa led with a little less than 30 percent, with South America and Europe sharing a similar proportion, the average of 16 and 18 is 26%. In addition, although a quarter of the total of the world’s forests was attributed to North America, Asia was less than the leading country in the chart.
