Overall, there are four aspects in the table, including number of businesses, profit, sales revenue and general growth, the information shows a significant distinguish between online retailers and department stores.
To begin with, the number of businesses of online stores is five times more than department shops, at 368 and 67, respectively. Considering the profit (AUD), there’s a minimal difference in the numbers, however online retailers still edging out about 56 AUD more.
Regarding the number of sales revenue, online shops still have a bigger number compared to department shops, as the former earned 12700 AUD while another one got 13400 AUD. Lastly, the growth of department stores was 0.4 percent. On the other hand, online shops had 0.6 percent. The gap between the percentage of these two stores are not really significant.
