Overall, all categories recorded an upward trend, except for coal, which showed a declined throughout the period. Although coal was the highest proportion at the start, the figure for oil peaked at the end of the period.
Looking at the energy sources that forecasted growth, gas, oil, wind and hydro. Gas started at 22.9% in 2008 and saw a significant rise over the next two decades, peaking at 32% in 2030, an increase of 9.1%. The oil increased roughly between 2008 and 2030 at 32.5% and 35.5% respectively. In addition, the percentage of wind and hydro saw a slightly increase to 0.9% and 0.7% in 2030.

In 2030, while the solar power disappeared from the chart, a new geothermal appeared, which stood at 4,3%. Furthermore, the others remained stable at 4.3% through 22 years.
