English I have learned is English. I started to learn it when I was in primary school, which was at six years old, but to be honest, I learned it in a serious way when I was in secondary school. Since I was late to start English seriously, the first difficulty is my vocabulary is poor. For example, when I was having a reading test, I didn't understand over half of the words in the test. However, I put a lot of effort into overcoming it. In order to boost my lexical resources, I bought a dictionary and learned at least 30 words a day. The effect is remarkable. Since my marks in English subjects were a disaster and it might affect my future education, I started to learn English earnestly. Moreover, it is linked with my habit, which is football. I want to travel to the United Kingdom and watch a match from my favorite football club. If I want to go to the United Kingdom, then English is essential, because it is convenient for me to communicate with local people. Furthermore, as English is an international language, learning it well can benefit my career prospects.
