I once found something important that someone had lost. It was a smartphone, and I found it on a bus. Nowadays, people are often careless because they have busy schedules. It was a long weekend, and I was in a hurry to get home. I didn't notice the phone on the seat until I was already off the bus. I immediately checked the phone to see if it was unlocked. Luckily, it was, and I could see the owner's contact information. I called him and explained where and when I found the phone. He arrived within 10 or 15 minutes, and I returned his phone to him. He was very grateful and happy. It felt good to be able to help someone in need. He even gave me some chocolates as a thank you. I was happy to have been able to help someone that day.
