I think the increasingly reliance on technology in education will definitely affect students’ critical thinking skills in the long run. Nowadays, artificial intelligence is very popular, which we call AI in short form. AI is a very strong to when students have any questions they can simply just input a question and then the generative AI can immediately produce answers for them. By repeating this process, children and students they do not need to think or critical think about whether the answer provided by the AI is correct or not. They might just simply copy their ideas or just just agree with the AI ideas. So I think in the long run, the more reliance on AI children or students might think critically no longer.
