I think that there are a lot of reasons why certain sports have lost audience and interest. First of all, I think that due to the lack of advertisement, sports like hockey have lost audience in my country. On the other hand, if I talk about global sports, football and cricket were the most popular sports in the past. But nowadays, due to modern technologies, people can watch these sports matches online, so they don't need to go anywhere to watch them. I think that these are also reasons for the decline in interest.
