The linear chart illustrate the percentage of pupil from different age groups-under 18, 18-25, 26-35 and over 35 who played video games between 1985 and 2002.
Overall, it is clear that all age group shows an increasing trend over time and younger children are more involved in playing video games within the period given. The data shows children that are under 18 shows a steady increase in trend which is from 20% in 1985 up to 50% in 2002. Adults within age group of 18-25 also showed a moderate increment in percentage from 10% in the year 1985 reaching 40% in 2002, while the age group from 26-35 displays a rise from less than 10% in 1985 till more than 20% in 2002. Moreover, the chart also showed that individuals above age 35 played very less video games over the period given, which is almost non in 1985 up to less than 10% in 2002.
In conclusion, younger candidates used to be more involved in playing video games as compared to older adults.
