Dear Tim,

I hope this letter finds you in radiant health. I got your invitation letter to come to your place in Mexico and spend my summer holiday last night.

I want to thank you for the invite to link up with you and make lasting memories. You know I’m always one call away from things like this but sadly, I won’t be able to make it this time around.

You know how my mum has been longing to come pay me a visit; well, I guess this is a good time for her to come from Nigeria. She has said she’s coming along with my baby brother and I cannot deny her this time but I promise to make it up to you.

Checking my schedule now, I’m free next month after my summer break. Why not let’s postpone our time together till then, and I hope you’ll be free as well. We can also have it on my next summer break, whichever time you prefer.
