Overall, football was remained in the leading position during given years inspite of experiencing decline. The Yoga, volleyball, golf, swimming, and tennis were saw rise in their number whereas basketball was decrease.
In 1999, football was attracted more interest compared to other sports. Significant number of people took part in football and swimming with 57 % and 32% respectively. A similar pattern was observed in tennis and basketball, with respective figures of 25% for tennis and 26% for basketball. Finally there was low-tier sport for example volleyball 17% , yoga 10% and golf%.
In 2009, change was occurred in the number. Football was continued in the leading position with 48%, the figure experienced decline though. A slight increase was observed in the volleyball 18%, yoga 13% and swimming 34%. In addition, noticeable increases in the number of people who interested in tennis 33% and golf 17% was recorded. However, basketball dropped to 24% in the final year.
