It can be seen from that charts that there was an upward trends in all three countries on earnings income to foods and other goods over the decade. Germany was the first ranking on foods and others products in1998, however France became the highest nation which spent more money to foods and groceries. While England was lagged far behind over the period.
Turning to the details, France had a significant increase on foods during the period of ten years from 15% to 40%. There was a slight growth which was seen in Germany about 25% to 30%. While spending money in England went up lightly, making up 15% in 2008 from the lowest based in 1998 about 10%.
Having a similar pattern is observed in spending on other products, France and Germany had the same expenditure on other goods about 10% and 15% respectively, whereas England started with only 5% in 1998. In 2008, France experienced a striking fourfold increase 40% overtaking Germany which jumped more modestly to 30%. In spite of the lowest base, England saw a notable climb to 35% catching up with Germany.
