The table illustrates the percentage of learners attending four different middle schools in 2000, 2005 and 2009. Overall, it can be seen that the highest ratio of pupils attended voluntary-controlled schools while the least was accounted for specialist schools. The units are measured in percentage.
Initially, in 2000, the ratio of children attended specialist schools was 12%. Next, the amount slightly dropped to 11% in 2005. But in 2009, only 10% of pupils attended specialist schools. Moreover, 24% of students attended grammer schools in 2000. While in 2005, the percentage of pupils was accounted for 19% before falling to 12% in 2009.
Furthermore, for voluntary-controlled schools, the higheset value of children was recorded for 52% in 2000. In 2005, 38% of learners goes to voluntary-controlled schools. Meanwhile, in 2009, the ratio of pupils accounted for 20%. In addition, 12% of learners went to community schools in 2000, while in 2005 and 2009, the proportion of students attendance was contributed for 32% and 58% respectively.
