Dear Sam,

I am writing this letter about renewing the agreement for staying in the apartment. Intially we had a six month agreement although i want to extent this contract for another quarter of the months .

Actually, we were making our own house inside the city and according to our Estimates our house work would be completing this winter. However, due to the heavy rainfall the speed of making house dropped drastically and led to the delay of construction. We need to change our plan .Moreover, We are washing machine Problem inside the apartment . It had started leaking water last month and You sent the plumber last time, but now me and my cousins are facing same problem again please take a action to fix this problem.

let me know about your decision forextending our contract.

Your sincere

Task Response

The letter addresses all parts of the task, clearly stating the desired extension, explaining the change in plans, and mentioning the problem with the washing machine. There are some minor grammatical errors and awkward phrasing, but overall the message is clear. To improve, focus on using more precise language and proofreading for grammatical accuracy. The letter falls short of the required 150 words.

Coherence & Cohesion

The letter's organization is somewhat clear, but the flow of ideas could be improved. Consider using more effective transitions between sentences and paragraphs to enhance coherence. For example, when explaining the change in plans, a clearer connection to the initial agreement would help. Additionally, ensure each paragraph focuses on a single main point to improve clarity.

Lexical Resource

The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, but there's room for improvement in terms of precision and variety. For instance, instead of 'making our own house,' consider 'building our house.' Using more specific and varied vocabulary can make your writing more engaging and demonstrate a better command of the English language.

Grammatical Range & Accuracy

The letter contains several grammatical errors that affect clarity. Pay close attention to verb tense consistency (e.g., 'would be completing' vs. 'will be completed'), subject-verb agreement, and correct article usage. For example, 'washing machine Problem' should be 'a washing machine problem' or 'the washing machine problem.' Proofreading carefully and focusing on basic grammar rules will significantly improve accuracy.
