The pie chart depicts the difference between the percentages of favorite transportation in London every 10 years from 1990 to 2010.
As can be seen from the chart, the most popular vehicle was the underground railway in both years. The second was the train and the car. Besides, transportations such as walking, bicycle, and motorcycle were less popular than the three above conveyances.
The underground railway accounted for about one third of total transportations. Specifically, it accounted for 38% in 1990, after which it decreased to 35% in 2000 and then fell to 34% in 2010. Train and car accounted for almost the same percentage. The former went down by 1% to 23% and the latter fell by 3% to 19% after 20 years from 1990. Walking changed almost insignificantly over the years, it accounted for 8% in 1990 and rose by 1% to 9% in 2010. With a starting point of 4%, the proportion of bicycle increased two fold to 8% and accounted for 10% in 2010. The percentage of motorcycle ranked last compared to the remaining vehicles, it grew from 4% to 5% during the time frame.
