The pie charts compare the proportion of seven distinct means of transportation which were used for work in London in three notable years, 1990, 2000 and 2010
Overall, the percentage of underground railway, train and car experienced the downward trend. However, these figure of that was dominating the chart throughout two decades which constitute the majority of the chart. Whilst some slightly fluctuation can be witnessed for the others.
Looking in the pie chart in more details, Underground railways, which constituted 34% at 2010, demonstrated the highest figure, in spite of decreasing by 4% compared to 20 years before (38%). In terms of train, it was dropping to 23% in 2000 which made up 24% at 1990, but the figure of that was remaining steady until 2010 and held the second highest utilization of transport which was 4% higher than car (19%).
On the other hand, motorcycle, was 4% in 1990, while a slightly increase can be seen in 2010, that of was sustaining lowest percentage of the chat at 5%. In contrast, bicycle, initially at mere 4%, grew up to 10% at 2010, over taking by walk (9%); nevertheless, the rate of walk had been higher previously which occupied 8%, 10%, 9% respectively over each time period
