The line graph compares the changes in the immigration to three different countries, measured in thousands, over the 1990-2001 years. Overall, the highest level of immigrations was in USA, while the reverse was true for Australia. It is also clear that Canada was the only country where number of immigrants increased over the period.
Focusing to the line graph, USA, experienced considerable increase in immigration ranges from approximately 1400 thousand to 1800 thousand, to 1992. Following year number of immigrants declined dramatically to 1000 thousand. At the same year, in Canada level of immigration increased approximately to 250 thousand, while in Australia in remained unchanged.
It is notable that, from 1993 to 1996, numbers of immigrants in USA declined from 1 million to 800 thousand. Although to 1996, in Canada and Australia immigration range slightly fluctuated and came to the same level as in the first year. In USA range of immigrants insignificantly increased to 1997 and remarkably declined to approximately 700 thousand and remained stable following year. To the end of the period, immigration to the USA and Canada grew by 200 thousand, approximately 900 thousand and 400 thousand respectively, meanwhile Australia had stable number at 200 thousand of immigrants at nearly , to 2001.
