The illusrations display changes to a mesuem’s floorr desing between the year 2008 and 2012. There are two pictures one of the plan in the year 2008 and one in 2012.

Overall, we can see that the Museum has been modernized with the inclusion of a lift instead of stairs and additional room’s on the second level. Furthermore, there is a new Terrace and a redesigned enterance hall.

One of the more noticable changes is the new restaurant placed above the reception room which has now been converted to a Reception & Cloak Room. A self-sevice cafe and exhibition room have both been added on top of the reading room. There haven’t been any changes to the gallery, shop, and reading room.

To make room for these changes the reception and cloar room’s had to be combined into one and made smaller. Stairs needed to be removed from the design.
