The two pictures depict a transform of a layout of a museum’s floor in 2008 and 2012. In general, it is noticeable that the museum floor had significant changes, that resulted in modernization and improved usability for visitors. Furthermore, there were added variety of areas and entertaiment places. In addition, the appearance of new places did not lead to the disappearance of old ones, except for stairs.
To begin with the outdated plan of the museum floor, it was divided into two floors. A path was located on the west, next to which was an entrance. Under the entrance on the southern side was stood a gallery with a shop nearby. A cloak room was on the bottom right corner of the museum floor. Between the shop and the cloak room were located stairs, which allowed to get to the second floor. A reading room was on the opposite side of the entrance, and a reception just in the middle of them.
In 2012 the layout of museum floor altered considerably. The number of floors were increased to four. The path remained at the same location. The places of two lower floors stayed untuoched, aside from the entrance hall which was imroved, and the cloak room which was replaced by a children’s play are and merged with reception. There was added a terrace, above the entrance hall, and a restaurant to its right. A self-service cafe was located on the east just above the reading room, and under an exhibition room, which was located on the very top floor. A lift replaced the stairs, making it easier for people to get up.
