The line graph compares information regarding the number of international students enrolling of different education programs, such as undergraduate programs and language courses, at one university over a 10-year period from 2010 to 2020.
Overall, it can be clearly seen that the number of participants in undergraduate programs and language courses experienced an upward trend despite of some fluctuations, whereas that of postgraduate programs underwent a downward trend over the given period.
Starting in 2010, at 20,000 students, the number of attendees of undergraduate programs was the highest, followed by language courses and postgraduate programs at 15,000 and 10,000, respectively. It is interesting to note that, while the number of students enrolling undergraduate programs reached a peak at 45,000 in 2016, after increasing dramatically from 30,000 in 2014, that of other programs fluctuated, for example, postgraduate programs decreased mildly in the number of participants from 20,000 to 15,000 in 2016.
From 2016 onwards, the number of participants in undergraduate programs and postgraduate programs decreased significantly to 25,000 and 5,000, respectively in 2020. On the other hand, this number of language courses rose moderately, reaching a peak at 25,000 in the same year.
