The bar chart illustrates the proportion of households in the US by their annual salaries in 2007, 2011 and 2015. The income group is range from the less than 25,000 to 100,000 or more.

Overall, it is clear that the households that earn less than 25,000 were highest, while households with 75,000-99,999 amount of annual income were smallest.

To begin with, in 2007 the proportion of households with 25,000 of annual income were the highest. However after 2007 it witnessed a slightly decrease, and then by 2015 significantly increased to approximately of 33 million. In contrast, the amount of households with 100,000 or more experienced a increase, although after 2011 slightly fall to 27 million.

Meanwhile, the brackets of 50,000-74,999 and 75,000-99,999 were stable throughout a period. The numbers of households remain unchanged, 20 and 15 million respectively. Nevertheless, households with annual income of 25,000-49,000 had a similar upward trends as the households with less than 25,000 , reaching a 28 million of families in 2015.
