The diagrams illustrate the existing floor plan of a residence and the proposed modifications for its redevelopment.
The impending alterations will result in a more versatile space designed to accommodate study, sleep, and social activities, while simultaneously reducing the size of the hall and relocating the living room outside the main structure.
Currently, the ground floor is arranged with a study/bedroom situated in the lower right corner adjacent to the kitchen. Directly across, on the lower left, a closed-off hall faces the entrance, with a bathroom positioned next to it that aligns oppositely to the kitchen. The upper section of the layout comprises a living room and another study/bedroom arranged from left to right. Additionally, a second study/bedroom is positioned discretely outside the main rectangular footprint, directly opposite the living room. The current design also includes two garden spaces, one at the top and one at the bottom of the plan.
In the proposed redevelopment, the home’s layout is anticipated to be significantly enhanced. The existing study/bedroom in the lower right corner will remain unchanged, while a new ensuite bathroom is set to be constructed adjacent to it. The kitchen will undergo an expansion to facilitate social interactions. Conversely, both the hall and the adjacent bathroom will be reduced in size, with the hall being converted into an open area. Furthermore, the living room will be relocated outside the main building, creating additional room for a larger study/bedroom area. The adjacent room will be transformed into a spacious square layout, with an additional study/bedroom planned next to the original one, oriented towards the newly planned bathroom. Finally, the lower garden area is proposed to be repurposed into a parking facility.
