The line graph illustrates the sales of three different kinds of books – childerens books, adult fiction, and educational books from 2002 to 2006, measured in millions.

Overall, the data reveal a upward trend in sales of childerens books, while the sales of adult fiction experienced a gradual decline from middle of the period. At the same time the sales of educational books flactuated throught the period.

In 2002, the sales of books for children started at approximately 35 millions dollars, hitting its highest point. In period between 2003 and 2004 the number marginally rose to 40 million dollars. But after this, the number of sales started to fall, by 2005 it was around 32 million dollars and by the end of the period only 30 millions (2006).

Regarding adult fiction, the starting point was just over 30 millions, and countiened to rose. By 2003, it was approximately 40 million dollars and by 2005 to 45 millions. By the end of the period the sales of adult fiction ended at the highest figure, surgered to 55 millions. Looking at sales of educational books more detail, at the beginning of the period the number increase sharply to 30 millions (2003), and started to decline by throught the period, approtimately 25 millions. Only by 2006, the sales of educational books experienced a growth again to 30 million dollars.
