The pie chart compares the expenditure spent by an average household in two different timelines with some major sectors like housing , food, healthcare and education.
Overall, in the initial year majority of expenditure was spent on housing and the least was on tranporation well this was changed in year 2010.
In 1950, more than half of the total expenditure was spent on housing around 72% . Followed by food where 11.2% of money was spent on it then education was followed by 6.6% . 4.4% of expenditure was spent on unknown reasons which is not clearly mentioned in the chart. Healthcare was given the least priority by 2.4% only.
However, there is a visble change in the distrubution of expenses compared from sixty years ago . In 2010, the highest amount of money is spent on food by 34% followed by housing which is around 22%. Almost 19%of household expenditure was spent on unclear reasons. The transportation expenses were almost 14% . The money spent on education and healthcare was less than 10%.
